Sassy Yet Supportive Pre-Engagement Cards Launch “For the Woman Who Wants To Tie The Knot With The Guy Who Wants To Talk About It Later” - Based on the Website, HisColdFeet.com

SAN FRANCISCO, CA /UCWE/ - With the holidays approaching, many women are hoping for a ring to mark the season. For every excited bride-to-be, there will be several disappointed ring-less women talking to their closest girlfriends about, “What’s taking him so long to propose!” Girlfriends always listen, and sometimes they struggle to find just the right words to say. Andrea Passman Candell, founder of HisColdFeet.com, launches pre-engagement cards “for the woman who wants to tie the knot with the guy who wants to talk about it later” – so friends can let friends know that they’re not alone in “pre-engagement limbo.” The cards designed by Deborah Gleken of Boston, feature cute sayings and fun illustrations.

Andrea Passman Candell, M.A., a Bay area-based relationship coach specializing in pre-engagement issues, launched HisColdFeet.com in February 2005. Since then, the site has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, CBS Television, Boston Herald, Women’s Health and Fitness, Improper Bostonian, Des Moines Register, Rocky Mountain News, Doug Stephens Good Day Show, and other media broadcasts.

“On special occasions, and especially around the holidays, many women hope their long-term boyfriend will get down on one knee to pop the question. But, men usually move slower towards a marriage proposal then a girlfriend would like.” says Candell.

“Women who want to tie the knot, who are in long-term relationships with men who still aren’t ready, often feel frustrated, embarrassed, and rejected by their partner’s hesitancy when sending out save-the-date cards looks like a popular process for everyone else around. But, even couples in the healthiest relationships can approach marital readiness at different rates. Sometimes the walk down the aisle can be more like a crawl.”

Like the website, pre-engagement cards are to let women know that they are not alone in what Candell calls, “pre-engagement limbo.”
