STRANGE YOUNG THINGS First Annual Toga Party

TEMPE /UCWE/ - STRANGE YOUNG THINGS, one of the hottest new rock groups to come out of the Tempe, AZ music scene, will host their First Annual Toga Party on Saturday, December 10, 2005, 9pm at Last Exit Bar & Grill (1425 W. Southern Ave., Tempe, AZ 85282).

This unique event was born late one night at the band's first photo session. What started as a joke amongst the group quickly turned to a serious event idea, bringing to fruition the maniacal ideology encompassing that which is, Strange Young Things—rock ‘n roll the way it’s meant to be—dangerous, sexy and a whole lot of fun.

STRANGE YOUNG THINGS has been quickly gaining momentum and notoriety in the Phoenix/Tempe music and fashion scenes. They are a refreshing combination of pure, soulful, good ‘ol rock, with a dynamic stage presence. Maybe it’s the chemistry and passion for what they’re doing that commands the audience to get up and move. Maybe it’s just the pure and honest songwriting being played by a group of talented guys. Perhaps it’s that they are just a little bit "off."

Having been together for less than six months, they have already played shows in Los Angeles, opening for renowned L.A. group, Cattywompus, at their CD release party; Tucson; two SOUNDSTYLE events, and have been featured in many local publications. They will be "RockN the Seas" this February on the Royal Caribbean Cruise sailing February 24-27, 2006.

Before you have to "be nice," put on your toga and get naughty with STRANGE YOUNG THINGS. Who knows, you may even catch singer Corey Gloden under the mistletoe.

Advance tickets are highly recommended: $3 online at www.rawkwear.com.
$5 day of event ($3 with toga.)

Sponsored in part by RAWKwear, Static Management Group, NightLife LIVE!, DiscNow.
