/UCWE/ -  California real estate expert, published author and radio personality George W. Mantor will conduct a free consumer real estate education workshop on Saturday, January 21, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at The Associates Financial Group, 6183 Paseo del Norte, Suite 110, Carlsbad.

All participants will receive a workshop manual containing important information from the National Association of Realtors and federal agencies. Topics will include an overview of the local housing market and the conditions that affect pricing. Also, this month’s workshop features a recap on the events of 2005, from Mr. Mantor, as it provides insight into what homebuyers can expect for the year ahead.

Mr. Mantor combines a quarter century of local real estate experience with the latest information from the Internet to give participants a lively, behind-the-scenes look at the forces driving local real estate, providing practical information consumers can use. Known as The Real Estate Professor, Mr. Mantor is the host of “Keepin’ It Real, real talk about the real thing…real estate” on AM 1000 KCEO Radio and www.kceoradio.com, airing Tuesdays at 7:00 a.m. He is also co-host of Real Estate Today on CASH 1700 AM www.cash1700.com, airing Monday – Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
