/UCWE/ - According to various reports, Anna Nicole Smith seems to have made some strides in her battle over her late husbands estate as E. Pierce Marshall, 67, the son of her late busband J. Howard Marshall II, has passed away.
Smith, a former Playboy Playmate, has been in a very heated and very public battle with Marshall over her late husbands estate, a battle that went all the way to the supreme court.
Smith was awared $88.5 million in 2002 and that is what was said to be left to her by Marshall in his will but that was revoked, and it has been an ongoing saga. Now that E. Pierce Marshall has passed there may be no one to contest her late husband's will, but this could change pretty quickly if other members of the Marshall family should choose to continue the battle.
Anna Nicole Smith is said to be with child now, and things could be going her way once again.
