Luciano Pavarotti Has Pancreatic Cancer Surgery, Cancels Tour 

/UCWE/ - One of the world's greatest tenors, Luciano Pavarotti, has had pancreatic cancer surgery recently at a top New York hospital. This has caused him to put the brakes on his farewell tour until next year. According to reports he is recovering well after the operation that took place in New York and he remains under top medical care.


His manager Terri Robson had this to say in a statement``Fortunately, the mass was able to be completely removed at surgery, and`his physicians are encouraged by the physical and emotional resilience of their patient."


Pavarotti will undergo a series of treatment over the coming months and fortunately that were able to contain the cancer before it spread.


We wish the legendary Pavarotti a speedy recovery and hope to see him in action in the new year.
