/UCWE/ It looks like the talk show icon Oprah Winfrey was apparently the target of an extortion plot. According to reports an Atlanta man by the name of  Keifer Bonvillain made claims that he had audio tapes that would be extremely damaging to Oprah Winfrey.

So he wanted to be paid off in order for him not to releases the tapes, but to his surprise he didn't get his Chirstmas wish as he is now accused of illegally recording various phone converations that he had with an employee of Winfrey.

Bonvillain was looking for approximately $1.5 million from Oprah to destroy the tapes but instead he may just get time.
