MySpace.com Announces Events

/UCWE/ - MySpace.com has announced a variety of film and music events in Park City, UT, from January 19-23, 2007 in celebration of filmmakers and creative communities on MySpace. While in Park City, the company will present MySpace Nights at Tao, a reception for the Darfur documentary The Devil Came On Horseback, and an award to the X-Dance Film Festival’s top director.

Friday, January 19, 2007: MySpace Nights at Tao

MySpace Nights at Tao presented by Dove, the global beauty brand, and T-Mobile Sidekick 3 with Eagles of Death Metal (www.myspace.com/eaglesofdealthmetal), DJ Z-Trip (www.myspace.com/djztrip), and DJ Momjeans (aka Danny Masterson) (www.myspace.com/dannymasterson), at 10 p.m. at Tao on Main Street in Park City, UT.

MySpace Nights at Tao presented by Dove, the global beauty brand, and T-Mobile Sidekick 3 with Mos Def (www.myspace.com/mosdef) and Friends featuring Pharrell (www.myspace.com/pharrell) at 10 p.m. at Tao on Main Street in Park City, UT.

Monday, January 22, 2007: MySpace Reception for The Devil Came On Horseback

MySpace will host a cocktail reception with the filmmakers of The Devil Came On Horseback (www.myspace.com/thedevilcameonhorseback), a documentary exploring the crisis in Darfur, at the Delta Sky Lodge on Monday, January 22 at 6 p.m.

Tuesday, January 23, 2007: X-Dance’s “MySpace Best Director Award”

MySpace will present the LAT 34 X-Dance Action Sports Film Festival with the “MySpace Best Director Award,” a prize valued at more than $100,000 including high visibility placement on the MySpace Films homepage. The award will be given at Harry O’s at the LAT 34 X-Dance Award Show.
