3rd San Joaquin International Film Festival Announces Worldwide Call for Entries and Festival Dates February 20-27, 2010
/UCWE/ Stockton, CA - The Board of Directors of the San Joaquin Film Society announces the global Call for Entries for the 3rd Edition of the San Joaquin International Film Festival, to be held February 20 to 27, 2010, in Stockton, California.

Film submissions are open to filmmakers, artists and production companies worldwide. Entry fees start at $15.00.

Call for Entries begin: Thursday, June 4, 2009
Early Deadline: Friday, September 25, 2009
Primary Deadline: Friday, October 2, 2009
Late Deadline: Friday, October 9, 2009

About the Festival

The 3rd San Joaquin International Film Festival (SJIFF2), the flagship annual exhibition of the San Joaquin Film Society, set to take place February 20 to 27, 2010 - is a glorious world showcase of new and innovative works from emerging talents and seasoned international artists, presented in the city of Stockton in the heart of California's 400-mile Central Valley. SJIFF3 will feature: red carpet premieres; new independent and award-winning American and world films; educational programs, panels, interactive discussions; family events and programmes; guest celebrities, entertainment and industry luminaries, and filmmakers from around the nation and the world; galas and festive parties; and diverse programs for all ages. Official program to be announced in December 2009. Passes go on sale November 7, 2009.

About the Society

The San Joaquin Film Society, Inc. (SJFS), home of the San Joaquin International Film Festival, celebrates cinema arts, multi-cultural appreciation, and global outreach through year-round productions of festivals, films, and educational programs.
