170 Carat Pink Diamond Found in Angola
It was reported that one of the largest pink diamonds found in the past few hundred years has been extracted out of Angola. The named the great diamond find “Lulo Rose” and it was found at the Lulo alluvial diamond mine in Angola’s Lula Norte region.
The company that owns the mine, Lucapa Diamond Company, made the announcement and the CEO Stephen Wetherall added that only 1 in every 10,000 diamonds mined at pink in color.
This is sure to fetch a handsome price when it is auctioned.
