/UCWE/ - The Omaha National Martial Arts Championship offers the most exciting martial arts & film making action in the area. Actors, filmmakers, students, and martial arts fans should mark their calendars. The weekend begins with a dynamic bang! Film legend Don "the Dragon" Wilson and award winning choreographer and director Art Camacho will present "Building a Martial Arts Action Scene".
That evening a reception will be held for Don and Art at the West Omaha Hilton Garden Inn. You won't get a better networking opportunity; check out friends of ONMAC on their facebook page. In addition,Omaha Film Festival is hosting "So you want to be a martial arts star". You'll be given dialogue and 30 seconds of choreography that will be reviewed by industry professionals.
On May 9th, registration begins at 8 AM at Millard South High School. Lt Governor Rick Sheehy will officially start the event at 10 AM. Tournament events include 117 divisions for all age groups. Winners will earn a chance to compete with Team America at the 2009 World Martial Arts Games in Ocean City, Maryland.
