The Deadliest Catch's Captain Phil Harris Passes Away
/UCWE/ -  According to reports the man best known for his Discovery Channel TV Show "The Deadliest Catch", Captain Phil Harris, passed away today from complications of a stroke that he suffered on January 29, 2010, he was only 53 years old.

He was a big fan favorite especially with his crab fishing off of Alaska. The Discovery Channel will be airing the sixth season of the popular show at some point in 2010.

The tough Captain of the vessel Cornelia Marie suffered a massive stroke as his crew was unloading a batch of crabs at St. Paul Island, Alaska. The Discovery Channel released a statement mourning the loss of Captain Harris, stating  "We will miss his straightforward honesty, wicked sense of humor and enormous heart."
