/UCWE/ - The world of Reality Television has engulfed our lives and has taken its place in pop culture along side The Brady Bunch and Hulk Hogan. With everything from housewives causing personal drama while women across the USA watch the Bravo TV hits without fail to kids from the Jersey Shore getting their day in the sun and actually running with the ball thus creating interest across the country. I guess we're all vouyers by nature to some extent, with new shows like "The Ultimate Body" showing the life of a bodybuilders transformation like never seen before to shows like "Americas Next Top Model" and "W.E.A.P.O.N. The Series" which shows growth with the contestants and actually give them a foundation for a future in entertainment, so there is some good coming out of reality TV.

Now in Wilmington, North Carolina there is a new production that is putting a slight twist on a classic novel, and get this they are doing it reality show style but on stage. The name of the play is "Dangerous Liaisons" and its playing at the Brown Coat Pub & Theatre, its based on the 18th century French novel of the same name, yes this was also made into a movie back in 1988.

The producers of the show were actually innovative with this approach as the play follows the lives of bored high society types with the only claim to fame is just being famous, so they meddle in other peoples lives. Interesting and for any reality TV fan it may be a change from sitting in front of the television.
