Formed in the summer of 2004 Los Angeles Goth rockers Pins and Needles are here to infect the masses
LOS ANGELES, CA, /UCWE/ - Formed in the summer of 2004 Los Angeles Goth rockers Pins and Needles are here to infect the masses. By earning themselves a solid reputation in the local scene the band has recently signed to SRO Music (the digital leg of Long Live Crime Records).
With their debut album produced by Goth legend Barry Galvin (Christian Death & Mephisto Waltz) it gives the band a nice blend of post-punk / death rock sound that they are all fans of.
With endorsements from Mick Mercer “[the first track on the album] ‘Speciman’ is superb and wouldn’t be too far behind Redemption’s ‘Disillusion’ as a contender for Goth song of the year” and Thomas Thyssen who raves “Pin’s & Needles should be more than proud of themselves. Their debut is one of the finest in months, if not years. It’s almost impossible to pigeonhole their sound and this is definitely one of the biggest compliments imaginable. A great effort, touched by the hands of the god of flanger guitars Mister Bari Bari of Mephisto Waltz fame” other rave reviews are not far behind.
Getting ready to play the Drop Dead Festival in New York City at the end of October were they will be playing along with UK’s Coffin Nails and US favorites Cinema Strange.
