SHUDDERS is a collection of 7 fantasy short stories featuring some of the most famous monsters in literature. SHUDDERS invites you to plunge into a dark, gothic and romantic universe, peopled with angels, vampires, demons and mythic creatures.
"I love their mystery, the fascination that create those creatures living in the shadow of the night, since my teenage life, and I wanted to write my own vision of their stories, for example, Dracula’s short story takes place in London, 1930, and all the leading characters except the Count himself, have been created for 'prison of eternity', like Annabella, a beautiful female pickpocket living in the streets and stealing money from rich men, meeting the vampire and becoming his love interest and soon his eternal bride..."
The originality of SHUDDERS lies in the two 2 parts it features: One for the demons, and another for the angels: A black and a white part. Something we all have deep in us.
The angel part features: "beauty of the heart," a very moving tale revolving around the fictional friendship between the endearing John Merrick (the elephant man) and a prostitute called Emma fleeing her pimps in the sordid streets of Whitechapel, and "Him," a mystery, centering on a theology student meeting an amnesiac stranger wandering about the streets to accomplish miracles, that he believes to be the Christ coming back on earth.
