Diandra and Alexandra Botie of Huntington were recently selected to participate in Nationals' 2005 Miss Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Long Island pageant competition scheduled for Nov. 12, 2005
HUNTINGTON, NY, /UCWE/ - Diandra and Ally will be competing for their share of $20,000.00 in scholarships, prizes, and speciality gifts.
Diandra will be competing in the Miss Jr. Teen division, one of three divisions for ladies between the ages of 13 and 15 year olds. Ally will be competing in the Miss Pre-Teen division for young ladies between the ages of 10 and 12 year olds.
There are three divisions to this competition, Personality, Casual Wear and Formal Wear. Personality is the number one aspect that each contestant is judged on during all phases of this competition.
If the girls were to win, they would represent Long Island at the Cities of America National Competition in Orlando, Florida.
