Interview Opportunity- The NFL Lockout Has Begun!
/UCWE/ - John Greenburg, Sports Expert, Sports Historian and Author of "The Grand Old Man: Amos Alonzo Stagg" has spent countless hours researching great sports notables, sporting events and other historic information. His specialty has been as a football historian.

The current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the NFL owners and players expired at midnight on March 11, 2011. No agreement was reached, so owners officially locked out the players, whose union decertified. Not only that, but a lawsuit was filed against the league by high-profile players Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, representing all the players.

This sets up the potential for the first cancellation of regular season NFL action since 1987. Already, the off-season is impacted, as free agency, team workouts, and other organized team activities (OTAs) are put on hold while the players are locked out.

Even the venerable NFL Draft, scheduled for late-April, is in jeopardy.

John Greenburg is eager to break down this impasse and handicap whether there will be pro football or not in 2011. He will also answer these questions:

· Who has the upper hand right now-the players or the owners? Why?

· Why would either side put their sport anywhere near in danger of a work stoppage, thus imperiling the 2011 season?

· What are the main sticking points, and how far apart are the owners and players on these key issues?

· Why the lawsuit by Brady et al? Does this mean months of litigation, torpedoing hopes of an NFL season in 2011?

· Why is it so hard for the two sides to agree on how to divvy up $9 billion in revenue, as has been reported?
